Soak the kidney beans in water overnight. Then take a pressure cooker & add the kidney beans, water & salt.
Pressure cook the soaked kidney beans with salt for about 20 minutes. When this is done, drain out the excess water.
Now take a pan & heat refined oil on a moderate flame. Then put grated onions in it and stir- fry till they turn slightly pinkish.
Add garlic along with ginger in the pan and cook all the ingredients for about 2-3 minutes on medium flame. Stir-fry it well and add yogurt in the pan. Cook on low heat for 2 more minutes.
Then add tomato and turmeric powder in the pan & cook it for 5-7 minutes on medium flame. Keep stirring the ingredients.
Then add coriander powder, cumin powder along with dry fenugreek and chilli powder.
When this is done, add cooked kidney beans and let them bring it to a boil. Wait for 2 minutes, then add salt and simmer the recipe for around 15 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander and garam masala powder. Serve Hot!
