Paneer Tikka

INGREDIENTS

Plain Yoghurt

Paneer, Cut into 1-inch Cubes
250g
Ginger Garlic Paste
1tbsp
Large Onion, Cut into 1-inch Squares

Lemon Juice
1tbsp
Ground Turmeric
0.25tsp
Vegetable Oil
1tbsp
Red Chilli Pepper
0.25tsp
Ground Cumin
0.25tsp
Garam Masala
0.25tsp
Salt As Required
Green Chutney
0.5cup

Preparation

Take a fine-mesh strainer with muslin or cheesecloth. Add yogurt, then let drain for 15 minutes.

Mix drained yogurt with ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric, chili powder, cumin, garam masala, and salt together in a bowl.

Add paneer, onion, and green bell pepper and mix well. Marinade them for 1 hour.

Preheat grill on a medium flame and put light oil on the grate.

Skewer marinated paneer, onion and bell pepper onto metal skewers. Grill until vegetables are soft and cheese is browned. Brush with vegetable oil and grill for 1 minute more.

Mix onion rings with green chutney and serves hot!
