Kala Chana

INGREDIENTS

Dried Kala Chana

Ginger Garlic Paste

Chopped Tomatoes

Chilli Powder

Chana Masala

Coriander Powder

Cumin Powder

Turmeric Powder
1tsp
Salt as Required
Handful Coriander Leaves

Preparation

Soak chana in water overnight. Drain and put it in a pressure cooker, cover with water, add salt and pressure cook for 5 whistles, simmer for 15 mins. Take off the heat.

Then, take a cup of cooked chana in a blender and puree till smooth.

Now, take a pan & heat oil, then add whole spices and let them sizzle.

Add onions, green chillies and stir-fry them for 2 mins.

Add ginger garlic paste and stir-fry for a min.

Then add tomatoes and cook till tomatoes get soft.

Add spice powders, salt and mix it well.

Add water and chana and mix well.

Add chana puree and simmer till oil separates.

Add coriander leaves and mixes well.

Serve.
